Alioune Séga Sene
Founding Partner
Alioune is the founding partner of Sène & Cie. Before creating this advisory firm, he founded and led the “Investir en Afrique” desk at Paris Corporate Finance (now Colibri Advisory), a position he held until he left to start Sène & Cie
​
Prior to joining Paris Corporate Finance, Alioune participated in the development of the Transaction Advisory Services Division of KPMG for western France, where he developed a service line specifically addressed to help regional SMEs access capital investors
Alioune started his professional career at Altrio (now Equideals), after two prior experiences; first in the Financial Engineering Desk of “Banque Populaire”, and then at a merger & acquisition firm called AZ & Cie.
Moreover, he taught a course in business valuation at the IUP/IAE Business School in Caen.
Alioune is a member of “AFIC Future”, a national association of young professionals in Private Equity.
He holds a dual French-Senegalese citizenship and has lived in Algeria, Cameroun, England, Japan, Senegal and Zimbabwe. He regularly visits various African, Asian and European countries.
Alioune holds a Master’s degree in Management with a focus on Finance from IAE Business School in Perpignan as well as a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from IUP/IAE Business School in Caen.
